02 · Market entry and brand development

A new market.
A considered commercial start.

I support market entry from initial assessment and commercial preparation through to partner discussions, drawing on business experience in Hungary, Czechia and Slovakia.

The market entry process

The plan has to work
at the negotiating table.

At each stage, we identify the decisions required and the next practical steps.

01

Market context and objective

What are we bringing to market, where, and with what commercial objective? We review competitors, pricing and possible channels.

02

Commercial readiness

We align the product range, offer and information partners need. We identify open questions around stock, fulfilment and support.

03

Partners and negotiations

We identify relevant partners and prepare outreach and discussions. Presentations are built around each partner’s situation and needs.

04

Launch and feedback

We turn market feedback into decisions and a working plan, tracking agreements, open tasks and next steps.

Behind a market launch

An introduction
is only the beginning.

A meaningful commercial meeting needs a prepared offer. Product range, pricing, availability and partner support are all part of the same business decision.

The engagement therefore connects preparation before the meeting with the work that follows it.

Practical questions

Which markets can you support?

My experience is rooted in the Hungarian, Czech and Slovak business environments. For other markets, we first establish what local expertise and partners the engagement requires.

Is this only for online retailers?

No. I also work with brand owners, manufacturers and distributors. The right channel may be e-commerce, a retail chain, specialist stores or B2B partners.

Do you guarantee a retail listing or partner agreement?

A partner’s decision cannot be guaranteed in advance. My role is to prepare a credible approach and manage the commercial process; the parties involved decide on the terms.

Who handles day-to-day operations?

We agree what your team owns, what I take on and where specialist support is needed. Logistics, service and other operating requirements need to be addressed alongside commercial decisions.

Which market or channel
is your next move?

Tell me where your business is today and what you want to change. That gives us a useful place to start.
